Day 30 4974 miles

We camped last night on the Exeter river in New Hampshire.  Rained this morning so the river grew from a small creek to a bit bigger creek. We arrived in Middleboro, Mass by 11:00 so once we set up we drove to Plimoth/Plymouth for the afternoon.  In the day they spelled phonetically so we found different spellings of the town.  We toured Plimoth Plantation which is a recreation of the pilgrims 1627 village.  It included Native American settings as well.
Beautiful woven basket

This Indian may weaves headdresses from porcupine hair, deer tails and includes feathers if the recipient has earned them.

Dipping candles in bees wax.  The candle is complete once she has dipped it 30 times.

The recreated Mayflower II.  We boarded the ship and enjoyed stories from the period dressed interpreters.
Of course a stop at the famed Plymouth Rock.

We returned to the truck to find a parking ticket for "obstructing the sidewalk".  Hummm.
