Yesterday we went to the local park for the 4th of July. Didn't get any patriotic shots but we did get this one for Hayden.
Today we drove to the Arctic Circle. Post to follow. The road was built when they built the pipeline for access to it. Here the pipeline was running aboveground with a display. It was a good introduction to what we were going to see all day.
Both the road and pipeline were fascinating.
This bridge across the Yukon River was built both for transportation and also a means to get the pipeline across the river.
