When we began this trip we planned to have all driving days until Fairbanks and then the trip would begin. What I learned along the way is that BC and the Yukon are beautiful and we went through them too fast. There is a lot to go back and see/enjoy. We are happy to be back in the US as I don't have to compute kilometers into miles, liters into gallons. Though I haven't turned it on yet, we can now use our cell phones. We plan to stay here 4-5 days. It will be nice not to be bumping down the road. Today is July 4th. We are going to go see how Fairbanks celebrates.
