We are over half way on the Alaskan Highway which means we are between Dawson Creek and Delta Junction. We are having a wonderful trip. We saw bears and moose along the way yesterday. It was our banner day for wildlife. Lots of mountain ranges. We are now over most of the mountains that drain to the east so should not be doing as much climbing tomorrow.
At our lunch stop today we found a restaurant that had sticky buns. MMMMmmm. We had been looking for them and several places that advertised them were closed. Seems places close for the weekend since it is Canada Day here today.
2 1/2 more days to Fairbanks. We have been driving an average of 250 miles a day so will be nice to be there a few days with now particular plans.
